Hi,

taking into account that the OSTC Planner differs in the calculations made by the OSTC plus and the internal decoplanner from my OSTC plus it's not to planning tool since the operation with only two buttons is very limited, I would like to ask a question.

What app do you use or propose as a planner tool for iOS that comes as close as possible to the calculations made by the OSTC plus itself?

Hi mobu,

one plannning tool with widespread useage is Multideco. But as it is based on a code-base of it's own, it like will produce more different results. Whereby "more different" will likely mean "a minute more or less here and there". The main advantage with the "offline" deco tools is that they support the dive planning with more functions like max. bottomtime by gas etc. On the other hand: the deco calculator functions built into the OSTC are perfect to verify your dive planning and to adapt your planning on site in response to weather, Tide or whatever.
But be aware that, as discussed in the forum here before, any two different tools or computers will never produce deco schedules that totally match with each other.
