Hi I would like to exchange the display protection foil on my OSTC and was wondering whether someone could provide a how-to?
Should I use some kind of detergent to make the removal easier?
Should I treat the "naked" display in some way before applying a new display protection foil?
Any other important things to adhere to, good advice for someone who has never done this?

Hi Uli,

just lift one corner of the old screen protector with a knife. Then peel it off. To clean the "naked" display you can use an ordinary window cleaner. The display should be dry and free of grease and dust.
Position the screen protector over the display to see how much margin to leave on each side. Remove the protecting backside of the screen protector - but only half way, so it is easier to handle it. Start from one side and attach the screen protector carefully. Press it down gently and remove air bubbles with a soft towel or credit card. Little shrinkles will disappear some hours later.
