Hi, does anyone have any tips on where to get a cable that reliably works with the 2N? I thought my old nokia phone cable was the one, but it has let me down.

I realise the problem could be wear/corrosion on the micro-usb socket, but it is hard to see if that is the issue...is there anything that can be done to fix/improve that in case it is the issue?

Hi,

We supplied the 2N with a Samsung APCBU10BBE Cable.

I recommend getting this exact cable for the 2N since the micro-USB side is very compact and fits into the 2N correctly.

In the meantime, lots (and lots) of careful attention with a 10x magnifier, a scalpel and some isopropyl alcohol seems to have improved the situation so that at least now the PC 'sees' the device even though it doesn't connect (I get 'Device descripto failed' error).

I'll see if I can clean up the contacts a bit more and try that cable.
