Hi everybody,

I would like to change the ascent rate during the last phase of the decompression : from 1m/s to 5 m/s. Can anyone help me to modify the code of the firmware ?

Hi,

are you sure you want to do your own programming?

The reduced ascent rate only gives a bit of extra on the TTS and hence on the predicted gas needs if enabled, it doesn't influence the deco calculation itself by any means.

Wanting to change From 1m/s to 5m/s is changing from 60 metres per minute to 300 metres per minute.

The first is about 3 times the old recommended ascent rate and 6 times the current recommended rate, the second is almost 17 times the old recommended rate and 30 times the current one!

This would be a very, very bad idea if you were going to follow it.
