Hi to everybody,

my OSTC+ Tech has started two days ago to engage the left button himself. He trys to scroll through the menue. Once into the diving mode, he is trying to engage the menue in the diving mode. The deco calculation is working good, so I can dive but it is disturbing when the menue field is lighting yellow on the screen.
Is there any way to stop this, or is something broken again?

Have you tried altering the sensitivity of the buttons?

Sure, this was the first thing I have done.

And is it obvious that the sensitivity of the left button changes? And even at minimum sensitivity, the left button is still operating without being touched?

Yes, the sensitivity will change and the button operates when pushed

On lower sensitivity you need a lot of power to push it, I would say over 50% it doesn‘t work any more. You can push as much you want and nothing will happen.

Sounds like it's operating like it should then, apart from the ghost presses of course. I'd wait until Matthias arrives here, or email HW at service@heinrichsweikamp.com

I will send an email later today if nobody has an idea how to solve it. I was hoping that nothing is broken, because I need my OSTC until next week Friday. We are diving twice a day at the moment...

My left button is dead now. I can‘t even download my dives, because I can‘t switch on the OSTC.
Is there any workaround. Is this a known problem or is something broken?
