Hello, my girlfriend's OSTC Sport has button issues (one button often does not register clicks). Last time this happened it was under warranty, but this time it is out of warranty, so I purchased a Replacement Button Kit [1].
My problem is that the Replacement Button Kit has no instructions.
I am not completely happy about opening a dive computer without instructions, especially as there are springs involved...
Has anyone fitted one of these kits before? Is it safe (for the computer) and obvious how to replace the buttons?
Many thanks,
Nick K.

Re: OSTC Sport button replacement kit
Hi,
Just unscrew the 4 screws, take off the backplate and you will not have any questions anymore!
PS: you will not open any seal by doing so...

Yes, it's actually very simple once you removed the backplate. There are four small pins holding the buttons, pull these out with a pair of grippers and you can remove/clean/replace the buttons.
They are magnetic and so they attract ferrous particles. Cleaning them from time to time usually is enough.

Matthias
