Compass accuracy problem

OSTC 2TR (Tech 3.05)

The compass always has an approx +20 (ish) degree error which is enough to be a navigational problem.

I'm comparing it with a conventional compass not positioned too closely.

I've recalibrated several times with the same repeatable result.

This issue started with the version after Tech 3.01, before that it worked fine.

There was some code optimization in the last versions but the code should still give the same readings. Here is an OSTC plus with 10.50 (Equals to the tech code 2.70) and a 10.60 (Identical to tech 3.05) and they both point to the same direction (+/- a few degrees). When all three axis are moving during calibration and you can see min. 300 digits variation for x and y (minimum 100 for z) the result should be comparable since we all use the same compass code then.

In OSTC plus or sport, the inserted AA battery can make a big difference but that what the calibration is for.
