Hi,

I've got a display problem with my OSTC Sport, firmware 10.38.
Normally, the display is coming with white characters on black blacground.
But now, it's coming with reverse colors that means black characters in white zone and the bakground is still black.(see pix in attachment)
It's weird because I didn't change any display settings at all.
I've done a reboot but no change.

Could you help me to solve this problem please ?

I have also an another question: is it possible to upgrade my current firmware 10.38 directly to 10.68 ?
Because I've tried once but had an error during the installation.
should I install all the versions since 10.38 to 10.68 ?

Hi Jean,

the display problem will most likely go away with an updated firmware, because it is not a hardware problem but the software is just stuck in printing in reverse mode. Seems to be a bug in that old firmware.

You do not need to install every single update. As you will be doing a big jump, you will loose your settings and possibly your battery setting (type and/or charging status), so check that after the update and give the computer a full recharge.

I understand that I have to upgrade my current firmware 10.38 to the last one 10.68 to solve my reverse display problem.

I've downloaded the OSTC Companion v3.2 beta 1 (follow the provided link) and also downloaded the firmware 10.68.

When coming to the update, I've got the following issues:
1) OSTC Companion v3.2 doesn't give the OSTC Sport in the drop list of the models. So I choose OSTC hwOS (bluetooth). Is it the correct option to choose for OSTC Sport ?
2) When the connection is done, I can't have the option Update firmware activated in the menu, I can't click on it. So I can't upgrade my firmware.

Did I do something wrong ?

Could you help me to solve the problem please ?

Click on "Upgrade Firmware..."(Without clicking "Connect"), browse to the unzipped firmware HEX file and click on OK.
