Hi all,
I changed the 1.5 V battery in my wifes new 2 Sport and updated to 10.70.
Now I use a Saft LS14500.
After changing the battery I was not aked about the batterie - type like I know it from my own 3.
The display says that the capacity is 82% - but the battery is brand new.
I switched the batteries brtween my 3 and my wifes 2.
The 3 says 100%, the 2 stays with 82%.
I went back to a normal AA 1.5V and the 2 gives 1.5V and 100%, then back to the new LS14500,
and it again says 3.5V 82%.
Also the 2 tends to give a lower temp (approx 2 - 3 degrees) an a littel bit higher pressure (~100 hPa) and
those values tend to change every few seconds up and down. My 3 is very constant with those values.
Is this normal?
How can I set the correct battery-type in my wifes 2 Sport?
TIA

Menu -> Settings -> System -> Reset Menu -> New battery -> T1
Also see manual page 43+ about important notes for battery replacement und battery use in the OSTC sport.

Thanx - that did it for the incor. batt. vals.
But the temp and the pressure still vary form those the 3 displays.
OK, some hPas are next to nothing but 2 - 3 degrees?
Is this normal?
Will this be better under water?
TIA

Depending on the pressure/temperature sensor the values should be within +/-50mbar and +/- 1°C (@20°C, -2/+6°C over the whole range).
While charging, some fluctuation is normal (Electrical noise from the USB power supply).
