Deleting one dive from logbook

Post by Walde »

Is it possible to delete one dive from logbook? If not, that would be my feature request.
And is there any idea when the next FW release is coming?

Hi,

Release of 1.6.0 will be this weekend, deleting single dives is unfortunately not possible in the OSTC 4.

To be honest I really do not see any value in being able to delete individual dives on the dive computer.
To ensure you don't loose the dives you have to download them to a dive log (such as Subsurface or similar) then you can delete individual dives there.
Storing dive log information on the dive computer is just as reckless as storing your most treasured photos on you phone, tablet or laptop...

We get this request from time to time, but unfortunately it is not so easy to do with the internal data format and the implementation would be quite error-prone and time-consuming.

We should have planned for this (admittedly) from the beginning.

Greetings,
Matthias
