Hello,
I have strange issue, when tried to connect OSTC2 (bought used) to PC at first time.
1. USB connection port installed properly (COM5).
2. OSTC2 is seen by PC when connecting by USB.
3. Cant connect by Companion, bootloader and Divelog - no response from OSTC
4, its possible do download all divelogs by DIVELOG with 100% succes.

Any ideas? Changing USB ports and COM port number hasnt helped.

Thank You for any help.

Hello,

Point 3 and 4 contradict each other a little...

Common error with the bootloader is, that users are starting the tinybld.exe right out of the ZIP archive. That does not work, it needs to be unpacked into a folder and started from here (So the program can access the .ini files...)

regards,
Matthias

Hi,

The OSTC cR is connected using the OSTC Companion, not the "bootloader v2" you are using. You are also in the wrong forum, this is the section for the older OSTC 2N and 2C models. Your OSTC cR is of the new generation ("hwOS") OSTC that works in combination with the OSTC Companion. See viewtopic.php?t=14509
