End of Hardware Support for OSTC 2N and Mk.2

Seit 2004 sind eine lange Lebensdauer und ein langer Support für uns eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Wir produzieren und unterstützen unsere Produkte über Jahre hinweg, nicht nur während der Marketing-Zyklen. So investieren wir beispielsweise viel in die Ersatzteilversorgung älterer Geräte. Dennoch können wir für die alten OSTC (2N, 2C und Mk.2) nicht mehr alle Servicearbeiten durchführen. Bestimmte Ersatzteile sind schlichtweg nicht mehr verfügbar. Ab dem Januar 2026 können daher am OSTC 2N und Mk.2 keine Reparaturen mehr durchgeführt werden. Damit haben wir diese beliebten Modelle fast 15 Jahre nach Markteinführung noch unterstützt. Beim Nachfolger, dem OSTC 2C, sieht es noch etwas besser aus. So haben wir hier noch Ersatztaster und Backplates. Auch Displayschutzfolien sind noch auf Lager.
Since 2004, long service life and long-term support have been a matter of course for us. We manufacture and support our products for years, not just during marketing cycles. For example, we invest heavily in the supply of spare parts for older devices. Nevertheless, we can no longer perform all service work on the old OSTC (2N, 2C and Mk.2) models. Certain spare parts are simply no longer available. From January 2026, therefore, no further repairs can be carried out on the OSTC 2N and Mk.2. This means that we have continued to support these popular models for almost 15 years after their market launch. The situation is somewhat better for the successor, the OSTC 2C. We still have replacement buttons and backplates for this model. Screen protectors are also still in stock.

Mein OSTC2N bin ich erstmalig in 2011 getaucht - und er funktioniert immer noch!
