Hello,
Some new features (like a gas change recommendation in Divemode) are already in the latest "nightly-builds". We'll add the new pre-dive screen and will publish a new beta for the OSTC1 and Mk.2 very soon.
regards,
Matthias

Hi,
Are "nightly-builds" public ?
If yes, where can we find them ?
If not, do you think publishing new betat relase before end of week ?

Jérôme

hi everybody.
how the code for the deco program is already done, do you think that a software (like MV-pla) could be a good point for all who want some tables based on the same deco soft as his own OSTC.
like this we can make some run time in case of problem (instaed of done it with other softawre or diveplan in the ostc)?
best regards

In the OSTC Mk2 I would like to see active gas or gases at the "start screen"
(the page with serial nr, clock, Nofly, etc.)
And the option to view the clock in divemode.

i was thinking about something similar, i believe.
about year ago i was looking into gpsim [
http://gpsim.sourceforge.net/gpsim.html ]
to try to run ostc firmware without modifications in order to simulate the
dives, but i failed miserably.

hi,
for the simulator, for the moment i used MV-Plan, which is free an based on the same deco calculation + GF factors.
I don't check with the decoplan of the MK2 if it's strictly the same but how between now and i hope one year i will only use mine with air i have no really interest into any modifications, but that an idea.
best regards

I managed to gave my new OSTC MK2 (1,50) a try last weekend
My wish list and concerns:
- dive mode / recommended gas switch - my vote goes to Custom function option "Can I also suggest instead of just an asterisk to indicate a gas switch, maybe a flashing asterisk or better still flashing gas mix with asterisk to make it more visible."
- dive mode / deco info - Custom function option to add Safety Stop - just add 3 minutes to last deco stop - with "SS" mark next to deco time to make it clear. No skull if breaking safety minutes!
- pre dive mode / active gas list as described
here
- logbook - move "delete all" to reset menu. I have managed to delete 2 dives unintentionaly.
- tissue graph ruller (0% 25% 50% 75% 100%) - coloured scale - yellow/red (75/100%)
- Suggestion to manual already mailed to Matthias (very useful for stop new users asking stupid questions):
- split man for OSTC and OSCT MK2 and different FW versions
- HW description (where are those LED's?, what LED's blinking means? (red, blue), Does my OSTC make souds and when?, )
- description of tissue graphs (scale?, nice to see coloured scale red graphs for overloaded tissues)
- reset menu description (how can one reset CNS value after simulation?)
- skull description (when, why, for how long, will computer lock or display skull until desaturated and security dive break?)
- a few words about OSTC (MK2) and Jdivelog/Linux installation (VCP))
- recommendations for settings (combination of CF11, CF12, CF32, CF33 and comparison with other DiveComputers or Planners)
regards
