How to quit Simulator / Wie komme ich aus dem Simualtor?

Immer wieder taucht die Frage auf, wie man aus dem Simulator-Modus beim OSTC (2N oder Mk.2) kommt.

Zum beenden des Simulator-Modus muss auf 0m "aufgetaucht" werden. Dann beendet der OSTC den Tauchgang und kehrt in die Oberflächenmodus zurück.

Bei einer PC-Simulation also explizit auf 0m auftauchen. Dazu kann man auch den Simulator nochmals neu starten (Dabei taucht der OSTC fälschlicherweise auf 87m ab) und dann wieder auf 0m auftauchen.

Den internen Simulator ruft man aus dem normalen Tauchmodus (Kein Menü angezeigt) mit der "ENTER"-Taste auf. Dort dann mit "-1m" oder "-10m" auf 0m auftauchen und kurz warten.

To quit the simulator you have to "ascend" to 0m. Then, the OSTC will quit the divemode and will return to 0m.

When using the PC simulator you have to dive to to 0m manually. When required you can re-start the simulator (the OSTC may descent to 87m unintentional then) and then ascend to 0m again.

The internal simulator is called from normal dive mode (no menu active) with the "ENTER"-button. Ascend to 0m with "-1m" or "-10m" manually and after a short timeout the OSTC will enter normal surfmode again.
