Saturation/desaturation speed and deco stops question

Post by Mornemont »

Hello,

I've just tried to modify the saturation and desaturation speed (custom functions 11 and 12) but this shows no effect on the simulator. I changed them from 110/90 to 220/40 but I still obtain the same values for deco.

The simulator also seems to hesitate about the deco stops even when the depth is kept constant: one minute is added and then removed few seconds after, or a deep stop is asked lower and suddenly disappears after a few seconds.

Are those due to the simulator or are they happening in real?

Thank you.

Mornemont, CF 11 and 12 will be active only with a ZH-L16 deco model, not with a GF one. If you want to have more or less conservatism with the GF model, check CF 32 and 33.

Thank you Olivier. I tried to use the ZH-L16 OC for the simulation but something went wrong: deco stops start at 21m for a dive of 54m with 15min bottom time. I guess the simulator only works on GF model.

I'd like to be able to tune the conservatism parameter on the desaturation while having the deco done with the GF. Anyway I think one would not obtain the same deco profile tuning one parameter or the other and I'm interested in those profiles.

Any idea about the "hesitations" of the simulator?
