Blue flashing light and tissue loading graph

Hi Guys

This is my first post after receiving my OSTC 2 yesterday (v1.70 software). I've searched the wiki and forum, but have 2 questions which are puzzling me.

I dived the computer this morning with a gas switch and all went well. After surfacing now:

1 There's a blue flashing LED on the left hand side - what does this mean (computer is still desaturating)

2. In between the He and N graphs, there's a number (in my case 80) - is this referring to the battery capacity ?

Really impressed with the computer by the way.

Thanks
Dave

The blue LED flashes until no-fly time comes to zero - you have also the no-fly time displayed in surface mode.

For question 2, I don't know

Thanks David - that makes sense and the blue LED stopped flashing late last night.

Cheers

Hello,

The number indicated the current saturation load of your leading tissue. Depending on the tissue this can be a value between 80 and 200%.

Matthias

Hi Matthias

Thanks for the answer. I presume the lead tissue is at 80% (N2) saturation long after a dive due to the pp of N2 in air being 80% ?

Best wishes
Dave

Hello,

Yes, it's because of that. Nevertheless the number only gives a rough estimation. NoFly and Remaining saturation time should be used to give an orientation about tissue load.

regards,
Christian

Ist es möglich die Graphenanzeige dauerhaft zu unterdrücken und stattdessen nur die Gase anzeigen zu lassen?

I think 8hrs is very fast
did you change the desat and no fly CF's? Can you give the numbers for these CF's?

Can be possible depending on your back and deco gas.

the tx are 15/40 and the deco gas ean 32 and ean 50.
the number of this cf. is:
cf 11 saturate 110
cf 12 desaturate 90
cf 13 nofly ratio 70

thank you....
