Und schon ist es drauf;)
Tolle Arbeit.
Andi

Well done on the release. I've noticed some issues however
I configured my OSTC to CC ZHL-16 with GF, setpoint 1.3, last stop 6m, GF 15/85 with active gas (diluent) 10/70 and bailout gases 21/35, 50% and 100%
I ran a Simulator dive to 75m and then bailed out to 10/70, ascended to 65m and switched to 21/35.
First problem: the displays shows No Stop...then TTS....then No Stop.....then TTS
I then ascended to 20m and switched to EAN50....ok then ascended to 6m and switched to 100%....ok
Second problem: At this stage I want to go back to CC (simulated electronics failure) so switch to setpoint 1.30 but now it list my diluent as 100%
Third problem: So how to switch diluent?
Ok sounds like bail back out to 10/70 and then go back to setpoint 1.3...ok but
Fourth Problem: when telling the computer to bailout to 10/70 at 6m there should be a low PPO2 warning but there is not., pp02: .16 is shown in white
Fifth Problem: In the gas setup I can set a gas to be the first gas and also for active to be no. What is the meaning of this? The device seems to ignore the active setting if the gas is set as first gas? I can even tell the OSTC to bail out to this gas in Simulator mode.
Sixth Problem: In the simulator I can use air as diluent with a setpoint of 1.3 and dive to 125m without any high pp02 warnings (or high pN2!!! - that would be a nice feature).
Also on the Gas Setup it would nice to be able to control the p02 setting that is associated with the MOD. Also it is would be great if the switch depth for the gas is initially set to the MOD and then can be adjusted shallower i.e. MOD becomes the max value.
I'm still very interested in having the deco planner be able to accurately plan dives up to 120m deep
Thanks for all the effort. Hopefully the feedback above is useful.
Regards, Stephen

I noticed this behaviour but only for 30 seconds or so when it first goes into deco. Then it gives the first stop and then it didn't happen anymore.

Hallo Matthias,

Hello OSTC team, great Job on 1.80. And as most of the others already mentioned, this is the reason why we bought your product.
Just one thing: reboot OSTC is setting all CF to default, the first gas in the gaslist as first gas and all other active. I'm pretty sure this was not the case before 1.80.
Looking for the next loop of improvements (stoptime for gas Switch, lost gas, ...)

Hi guys,
Today I had a strange thing happening on 1.8
I did a dive just after activating the altimeter and adjusting t to reflect the altitude (i.e. 1-3m).
When I came back from the dive the OSTC wouldn't leave the dive mode. I registered zero depth but was still recording dive time.
Got solved after I climbed to the roof of the boat.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

Hi, I have tryed to install the 1.80 without success.
I have downloaded the correct file and with the loader i get this error:
Connected to \\.\COM3 at 115200
HEX: 4 days old, INHX32,18Fcode+cfg, total=87022 bytes.
Searching for PIC ...Not found,
ERROR!
I have tryed other ports the loader give me com 1,2,3 & 4.
I do downlaod the logged dives to the pc regurarly with diving log 5.0 still cannot upgrade the firmware.
Am I Doing something wrong ?
Thank you

Hi bago,
to update the software you need to reboot the ostc at the same time as attempting to upgrade from the pc side. The pc will recognise the ostc and start communicating with it as soon as it reboots.
Best regards

little BUG-Report:

Just before you hit "Check Pic" or "Write Flash" you have to reboot the OSTC
Menu>Reset Menu>Reboot OSTC>OK
I usually have the curser on OK (on the OSTC), then when I click "Write Flash" quickly follow with "Enter" on the OSTC.

Hi Heiko.
Very strange: I can reboot my Mk2 several time, it does not change gaslist, decotype, or CF...
The only exception is when you upgrade to 1.80, because it have different CF, we have to reset them to have something meaningfull.
Cheers,

Hallo Zusammen,

Hello, I used the OSTC Mk2 with the version 1.80 for the first time last saturday and I think that the computer is great !!! Very good visibility (expecially in the darkness of the lake at 54 metres) and very easy to use (expecially with the change of the gas).
Best regards.
