Various issues : JDivLog comm, parameters, ...

Hello
I have just received my OSTC Mk2. After pulling the last hairs off my head I had the impression that I eventually managed to make the OSTC and JDiveLog (on Win7) communicate with one another. I have set the Port number allocated by Windows in the Settings menu as well as the version of the OSTC (1.8)
Then I have press the "LOAD" button in the OSTC menu hoping that I can have have a look at the configuration of the OSTC and update it using in JDiveLog. I have a message which is either "Com port already in use" or "Data transfer timeout". At the end of the day, it seems to be a communication issue.
---> Has anyone a clue on how to solve this ?
I have done a simulation with the OSTC of a 90 meter / 15 mn dive using Trimix. As the time-to-surface is around 38 mn and the first deco stop at 18m and as I don't want to die following this plan, I wanted to finetune the parameters in order to get a more acceptable deco plan preventing my wife to become a widow.
---> I looked at various places in the Web site but couldn' find the location where all the parameters are described (and they are not in the doc...)
Many thanks for your answers
cheers
