Thanks

here my bug report :

N°1 :
2 gaz : air and nitrox 82% (in 9m) active
decoplan with ZH-L16 OC or L16 GF
bottom time = 15mn, max depth = 45m, last stop = 5m
decoplan don't use nitrox 82 (3'-9m, 1'-6m, 5'-5m), this gas stay in blue.

N°2 :
in simulator, with my notrox 82
better gas blink only under 9m.
Why ? MOD for this gaz is 9m, if a better gas is available for this depth, it should blink when it's Interval Surface
GF-lo -> GFbas
GF-hi -> GFhau
Last -> Stop

in simulator
RazMoyn. -> RazChron
Contrast -> Intensit
Calculer la Déco -> Calculer le Plan
Prof.Moyn -> Prof. Moy

that's all for the moment

Thanks for the release.

I'm still very concerned about the Simulator. I made a series of dives last year from 60m - 125m with the computer and it tracked the Inspiration Vision computer pretty well so I'm reasonably happy that it calculates correctly in the water but the Simulator seems to have a lot of problems and its not giving me much confidence in the device.

My configuration is CC with GF, setpoint 1.3, GFs 15/85, last stop 6m, diluent 10/70

Simulator dive to 99m

19min = 166 TTS
21min = 165 TTS
23min = 165 TTS
25min = 165 TTS
27min = 283 TTS
29min = 295 TTS
31min = 295 TTS
33min = 295 TTS
35min = 295 TTS

In each case I would look at the diveplan and then increase the bottom time by 2 minutes and then calculate deco. Occasionally I would also exit all the screens but it seems to make no difference.

Do these figures look right to you? I've mentioned these issues before but there was no comment. Some acknowledge would be nice. Is it a bug? Am I doing something wrong? Is the Simulator not supposed to be used to plan dives to this depth with those bottom times? Any comment?

Also in the diveplan the air pressure is shown below TTS? What use is that? Can this be changed to CNS% ?

Thanks, Stephen

Hello OSTC team,

bug report 1.82

dive 60m/19min
18/45
50/15 21m
O2 6m
CF55 3min

....
decostop 24m/3'
the first 1' toke 1'measured
the second 1' toke 1' measured
the third minute toke 5' measured ?
....
decostop/gasswitch 21m
21m/3'
gasswitch
decostop switched to 22m/3' in red,
after 1' to 22m/2' in red
after another 1' 21m/1' in white, but the 1' toke 2' measured
....

The additional stop time is extending the TTS (which is normal), but the extention of the last minute of the decostops looks strange also the gas switch at the deco depth.

Cheers

Heiko

please, when the topic is written in English, can you continue in English?
thank you

Sorry about that Bardass. Here´s what I wrote in English:

Using the simulator, I was able to reproduce What Robert and Heiko have observed.

For example, a 1 minute stop turns into a 2 minute stop, or sometimes a 3, 4 or even 5 minutes stop.

As a result, the TTS is ever increasing, even when doing the stops exactly as requested.

This was using the GF model.

I also have to confirm that I was not able to clear my deco today. Have a look to the dive profile which looks quite strange concerning the deco. I did not watch the OSTC for deco anyway (it's just my backup), but at the end I had 1min@3m for more than 5min until I decided to go up.

2hrs after the dive I've 70hrs+ for no fly also, the saturation is cleared for He, but not for N2 (102%). See also my other thread for this topic which is valid for 1.81 also! Checking the leading tissue at the end of the dive I had the feeling the saturation increased (#7, 121% and 130% 1min later)...

And BTW: Please also check the bookmark (marker) function, I tried to set one several times and can't find it in the profile afterwards....

There was a bug in 1.81 with GF handling, moving the GF_low reference depth up as you ascent. This was particularly visible in settings like GF 10/90, and produce was you observed, with increasing time for later stops and augmenting TTS value.

I corrected that and made a couple of dives with the future 1.83 beta (on a backup computer !), and it seems corrected now.

Thank you very much for all those reports that help us to test faster the new beta versions !

... and as your backup comp was second OSTC with next 1.84 beta ;)

Any chance for getting 1.83 soon? I can offer to test it on a real dive in the next days. I'll use the OSTC as a backup so it is not live sustaining...

+ 1 on the offer of solodiver

1.83 for the weekend would be a nice gift...assuming it is much better than 1.82 ;)
