Hi All,

I have looked at the 2n .pdf manual and list of custom functions..
CF05 seems to say it will display the ascent rate if exceeded ? Is there normally an assent rate display as I can't see one.. How is the alert displayed ? I know stated in another post there is no audible alarm..

This link seems to say there is an ascent rate display:

Any tips appreciated

-----
CF05:threshold in m/min for display of vertical velocity
This value sets the threshold of the vertical velocity. When reaching this value, the OSTC displays the velocity in the divemode.
Recommend range: 5 ... 15 (5m/min...15m/min)
Default setting: 7 (7m/min)
Example: CF05=10 - When the OSTC detects 10m/min or more vertical velocity the velocity is displayed in the divemode

Hi DB,

there is no permanent display of the ascent rate.

Once the ascent range exceeds the rate configured in CF05 (default = 7m/min), it is displayed below the current depth.

Once it exceeds the maximum defined in CF47 (default = 15m/min), it is also displayed below the current depth, but in that case in the "warning" color (default is red).
