is OSTC 1 completely dead?

I can't find any firmware package for it. All links (e. g. in the "news" area of your site) are wrong. You've announced firmware versions 1.70, 1.73 for the OSTC 1, but where can i download it?

Attached is the latest firmware for the OSTC1 (1.80). As nearly every user choose our upgrade to the 2N I doubt that we´'ll continue the development here.

The OSTC 2n isn't a adequate replacement of the OSTC 1 due to the missing o2 sensor connector.

Again, i never received an upgrade offer nor can i find it on your web site.

mir geht es genauso wie Raimund. Der 2n ist für mich keine Alternative da ich auch Nutzer der O2 Sensoren bin.

Eine klare Kaufentscheidung für mich WAR eben die aussage das immer weiter entwickelt wird. Diese wurde auch nach herauskommen des MK2 weiter vertreten.

Jetzt wird es auf einmal eingestellt? DANKE....

Ich bin Hobbytaucher und kann und will mir nicht den DR5 leisten (auch mit Upgradeangebot indiskutabel)

I feel the same as Raymond. The 2n is no alternative for me, because I also use the O2 sensors.

A purchase decision for me was just the statement that the development continues. This was also confirmed after the introduction of MK2.

Now it is stopped suddenly? THANK YOU ....

I am a hobby diver and can not and will not afford the DR5 (also out of the question with upgrade offer)

I think there is no doubt, that HW has right to announce end of line (EOL) for specific products.

I believe that the problem here is that there was no such clear message about great old OSTC.

Therefore I wonder if it can be made officially but given current situation (no clear message so far) if users of OSTC could be given a gift of EOL to be set in the future from now:
- it seems that 1.90 has some problems so I would avoid switching from 1.80
- 2.00 - can it work on OSTC as it has 64KB logbook?
- so at least, maybe there could be few bug fixes to 1.80 like the depth display, half times rounding, race conditionfor time/temp, etc - not sure if all of them apply to 1.80
