I recived my new OSTC N2 computer today.
I plugged it in to JDivelog, and JDivelog threw an exception when trying to load the ostc settings.

The exception was that oxygenPercent is not a valid Percentage value.

So i looked at the gaslist in the computer and saw that both gas 4 and gas 5 had default values of 255% of oxygen and helium.

I downloaded v2 (but it came with that as default already) and uploaded the new, but still the gas mixes of gas G4 and G5 are 255/255

Default:255/255

So even if i set this to some other value the Default is still the default or?
I have not been able to change this value, and not been able to change these as i understand them they are in the firmare..

This is a non-reseted default - should not happen, of course. You can reset it by yourself with 'Menu -> Reset Menu -> Reset Gas, CF and Deco'.

No i am sorry. The reset changed nothing with g4 and g5 gas. The orkats where reset however.

I send some pictures, i might not have explained well enough.

I have tried the reset, a couple of times, i have rebboted after reset. I have uploaded the V2 hex dump file to it 2 times, and reset and rebooted.

If i change the gas values, and do a reset, the thre first gases get changed back (to air) but gas4 and gas5 change back to a 255/255 mix.. (Their Default).

I kan not change the Default of 255/255.
WHen i change the gas to some more normal thing like 21/35, i can still not connect to JDivelog cause the Default value of 255/255 is still there and will not let me download any data, or change any settings.

We Ordered 3, that got delivered yesterday.. I havent checked the other 2 yet. I hope they dont have the same problem.

Try to re-install the 2.0 firmware (With the bootloader v2).

I tried that already.
I reinstalled it with bootloader v2 on windows.

Same problem.

So i tried an old beta, that i flashed from JDivelog.. 1.97 beta.
Same thing in the beta..

So i tried flashing it back to V2.

And now its back in V2, but the error is still there.. Defaul 255/255

Some more strangeness..

If i change the values of the Gas4 and Gas5, to lets say 22% O2 and then
choose to reset CF, Gas, and Deco.

It will not reset gas4 and gas5. They are still showing 22% (and the Default 255/255). The rest of the gases are reseted back to 21% O2

A reset doesent change the values of Gas4 and Gas5. But when i choose to press the Default value in the gas list it changes back to 255/255.

I found an old 1.8 while searching this forum.

I flashed it with that, and then i tried a Reset of ce and gas etc.
Everything worked.

But the enter and select buttons switched place.. suddenly i had to press enter to select and select to enter. Confusing.

No i am flashing back to v2. Right now it says "Please wait!" Hope it says something else in the morning. And i hope the buttons have changed back to original functions as well

Ok. Now i got a red symbol flashing saying CF56 and CF57 in the top right corner of the display. The buttons have switched back! Yea!!

after selecting Menu -> Reset Menu -> Reset Gas, CF and Deco' it now shows correct default gas values, and no flashing of Red symbol

It works!

So if you got an issue with Default: 225/255 with a OSTC n2 v2 and it doesent work with reseting it..

Downgrade it to 1.8. reset it. Upgrade it to v2 again, then reset it.

now i can start to play!

This issue is indeed a bug in the 2.0. But it only affects units which have never been used the 1.90 or earlier - and it only affects the default value. You can still configure all gases properly.

We'll post a new 2.01stable for this in the next days.
