N2 failure

Hi, after upgrading my N2 with new version 2.01 the unit does not switch on.
I tried to reset with the magnet on the bottom, but it will switch on only if connected to my MAC.
The strange thing is that display "blinks" (e.g. when you watch tv on another one, or you make a video of a monitor) and the battery status change from yellow to green and viceversa.
I tried several time to reset but nothing changes.......
I tried to downgrade to 2.00 but I had the same problem.
Any suggestion?
Thanks

Connect the N2 to the pc and start the software flashing process on the pc then use the magnet to reset the N2. It should start reinstalling the software after that.
Make sure you leave it until it's done.

I made it lots of time, nothing happens.
When it's connected it's ok, led flashing button works etc etc; when I disconnect it..... dead (seems like the battery is dead)

Andrea, has this been resolved yet? I'm interested because I am looking to buy one soon.

With this description it's required that we have a look on this unit. I'm afraid this can't be repaired via email. Please contact your dealer or us:

This may well be a battery or similar going wrong. The warranty will cover it.
So don't be disappointed if one unit has an issue. Ask suunto how many units do they receive for warranty replacement every week?
