deco won't go away

On a course dive to 82m on CCR I did a bailout (only exercise) after 18 minutes run time, switched over to bailout on the MK.2 and started to ascent to the first stop, first stop was 1 minute on 45m but after 3 minutes at 45m the MK.2 still showed 1 minute deco, at that point the exercise was stopped and I was going back to the CCR, switching the MK.2 back to setpoint made the 1 minute deco on 45m to disappear and all the rest of the stops on the way up went as normal.
I also tried this in the simulator and it behaves exactly the same, this is with V2.00

Hi,
did you set CF55 > 0 and did you set the MOD of one active OC-gas to 45 meters ?
In that case the MK2 is waiting for you to switch over to that gas set to MOD 45 meters.
If you don't switch over the MK2 will wait for that indefinitely.

Thanks for the reply
Looks like there was no depth set to the gas I changed to when on bailout, when the depth is set the simulation works as expected.
This brings up another question, why can I select a gas not active?

Why not? I think this is a very nice feature. The OSTC calculates using only active gases, but you are allowed to switch to not active gases (maybe if there is a stage hanging somewhere you haven't been sure whether u could use it during the dive or not or your buddy's stage...) or activate inactive gases during the dive.

The problem it that you don't get any warning, it just hangs on the deco. I can agree on why it should be possible to choose a not active gas but I would like to get a warning on why my deco don't count down.

why do you want a warning ?
ostc display operationnal mix on main screen
so you are aware of your choice when you select the mix, active or not.
and you do know the consequences of your choice.
OSTC provides two methods of calculation for TTS, according to the MOD for mixtures> 1
If MOD is valued for the mix then TTS is calculated with all of the MOD.
If MOD is not valued then TTS is calculated only on the first mix. If during dive, you choose a different mix with MOD = 0 or a mixture inactive, then the TTS is recalculated after a few seconds.

Hi,
just make sure to set a MOD for all gases beside the first gas, active and inactive.
