Hi Morten,
As Oliver said there is also jdivelog, though I have been using Diving Log for about 4 years now and am very happy with it. If you have specific questions about Diving Log the Diving Log forum is a fountain of information. There you can get all the help in relation to Diving Log!

The support from Sven is great.
Both pieces of SW have their strenghts and weaknesses and you need to find out for yourself which one is best for you.

But back now to your question on how to configure the Custom Text!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
So here is how you make changes to CF settings I and II and some of the OSTC information (Custom Text).
1. Make sure you have Diving Log version 5.0.5 installed. With the previous version you could only see CF I
2. Connect your MK2 / 2N with USB and switch it on (it needs to stay switched on during this procedure).
3. Start Diving Log
4. Choose the File Menu > Download > OSTC

5. The OSTC Download Options Window Opens

- Diving Log should with the Version 5.0.5 automatically detect the correct ComPort
6. Choose the "Configure OSTC" button
7. Diving Log will now Download the Configuration of the MkII / 2N and display the Configuration and CF menus

8. Expand the "Computer Information" menu if its not already expanded.
- Here you see the Information about the MkII / 2N
- Also the Custom Text is displayed here and can also be edited

Type in the custom text you want displayed (in my case "Dive now work later" and insert the cursor in the next configuration.
- The "Save Changes to OSTC" button appears

- Click on the Save Changes button, the changes are now saved to the OSTC.
- The following window opens:

0,file=206,filename=OSTCConfigfinish.jpg[/img]
- Click on the "Next" button (there is nothing displayed as we are not importing any dives)
9. Click on the "Finish" button

- In the next window it say "Import Complete!"
10. Click on the "Close" button
The MkII / 2N goes black and then displays the screen again with the Custom Text.
Important!
Any other changes have to be made with great care and you should be sure that you know what you are doing.
