Set time only with PC only?

Need to change back the clock to winter time. Is there a way to do this directly on the OSTC or do I have to connect it to my PC?
I'm sure this question has been asked before but the search feature does not work on short key waords.

@Matthias: Wouldn't it be a nice feature to program the OSTC in a way that automatically switches from Summer to Winter-Time? Don't know how difficult that is, but my Handy switches automatically...

Dear Hansjoerg, yeah you are right, same on me. However, I have to admit that I dont have a clue where to look for the manual.
However, I like the idea of automatic switch. Should not be to difficult as the calendar is already integrated. So one CF for on-off would be sufficient. With CF set to "on" between last Sunday in March and last Sondy in October the OSTC will display summer time.

2N Manual German
2N Manual English
If there is an easy way to implement an automatic switch for Summertime, I guess it could be implemented. Though not every country changes to Summer / Wintertime at the same time. So manual intervention might be necessary after all...

@PeterK: Another CF... might be a solution, but we will not have cfs left soon with all those things in the pipeline needing cfs...
By the way: You also need to set the time when changing time zones - and it's not a real effort to do so - skip the automatic change, it was just a quick idea without really thinking about it longer

And summer/winter time savings vary across the world so it would require a number of CF's depending on the country and sometimes depending on the specific state.
So, I vote for the manual change only.

Me too
Ostc is a dive computer, not a personnal computer
I prefer to keep CF for diving parameters

Keep it manual IMHO.. Works easily...

Keep it manual, daylight saving is already dropped in some countries and will (hopefully) be dropped in many more in the near future.
Just make sure the clock is working correctly, I guess this is the bigger issue...

Since the last updates, my clock is working without problems - have you still got problems, Jan?

Sry guys, no evidence of time issues with current firmwares from my side, I just referred to the situation in the past and did not check the clock lately running newer firmware versions. I'll have a closer look to my unit in the next days concerning this issue, sry.

As of now I had a drift of -12min so I just corrected the time, checked CF48=0 and will watch it the next days. Firmware 2.05

OK, time seems to be correct now, had no drift anymore (at least before upgrading to 2.06).
