OSTC in silty cave

I am a bit concerned about the o-rings on the buttons in a fine silt environment in a cave.

If one of these o-rings fail, would the case flood?

Any precautions which should be used?

Are they user serviceable and can they be cleaned/replaced?

Hello,

Please look in this thread: http://www.heinrichsweikamp.com/read.php?2,775
They can be disassembled when the housing is open.

Important is to rinse the OSTC after seawater use.

Regards,
Matthias
