I am at last the proud owner of a new OSTC 2N. It's not been wet yet and I've been playing around with it to get a feel. I have a quick (not very technical) question about CF28.
I am currently running Diving Log 5.0 and lets say I have 300 dives recorded in my log book. If I set CF28 to 301 will that make my first dive on the 2N number 301 and the next dive 302, 303 etc? Also, when I download onto Diving Log will it add it onto the dive log at number 301? If I leave it set to the default I assume my first dive with it will be recorded on the 2N as number 1. Will it still update diving log showing it as dive number 301?
I know I can ask some of these questions on the diving log forum but I guess someone on here may know the answer.
Thanks
Jerry

Re: CF28 Logbook offset question
Hi Smiler,
If you set CF28 to 300 then your next dive will be 301 in the internal logbook of the 2N, though you find in the log list the last dive is always listed starting from nr. 1.
Only the dive is transferred to diving log not the dive number. So the numbering in diving log is independent of the numbering in the 2N log book.

Re: CF28 Logbook offset question
I still believe that there's a bug in the actual logbook numbering... In my detailpages the number of the dive is equal the divenumber in the overview page! And that's wrong! My dive #1 from the overviewpage (latest dive) should have the logbook #9, because i did 9 dives so far with this computer...
