Das Forum läuft nun auf unserem eigenen Server und sollte wesentlich schneller laufen. Außerdem haben wir die Suchfunktion (endlich) verbessert. Alte Links auf andere Beiträge werden wir in den nächsten Tagen auf die neue Domain forum.heinrichsweikamp.com "umbiegen".

The forum now runs on our own server and should be much faster now. We also enhanced the search option (finally). Old links to other articles in the forum will be changed from us to fit the new domain forum.heinrichsweikamp.com in the next days.

A permanent redirect link to the new website would allow to find you on google...

Don't worry - heinrichsweikamp.net will be redirected to .com in a few hours. It just takes some time to update all DNS servers...

I think it is not a problem of DNS and update. Both

• nslookup www.heinrichsweikamp.com
  nslookup www.heinrichsweikamp.net

returns the IP address (87.106.57.34), which have to be the new one.

Trouble is that:
http://87.106.57.34/
it failing...

My raw guess is that in your HTTP server configuration is bad. You probably have a filter on incoming name, and did not add any aliases (87.106.57.34, old name, etc).

Also, a 'HTTP permanent redirect' would make sure all the google searches are correctly and rapidly changed to the new address, including changing www.xxx.net/forum to forum.xxx.com

30x redirect is also essential if you care about SEO (which I'd strongly suggest)

We actually don't care much about SEO, Facebook or +1, but this does not belong here.

.net is now working again. I'll check the redirects to .com on Monday. Since weather is fine -> diving...

Apparently, it is possible with phorum ....
