Just take "english_text.asm" from the source available from bitbucket, rename it to "italian-text.asm", translate and when done submit to Heinrichs-Weikamp....

As a matter of fact, I also look for volunteers to translate OSTC-Planner software's messages to Italian...

Yes, we have released the 2.28beta in Italiano, too.

Lorenzo quella e' la versione beta...non penso che ed anche da istruzione non e'consigliato fare le immersioni.
La versione ufficiale se non sbaglio e la V2.21 dove non c'e' l' Italiano.
Per cui la versione deve essere aggiornata..

The official release version V2.21 if I remember correctly, there isn't the Italian file.
So the version will be updated in the new release..... looking the number V2.3

If the Italian language file from beta 2.28 is backwards compatible to stable 2.21 you could compile an Italian firmware yourself.

Well, those people either A) have to wait a little bit longer for the next stable version (may indeed be 2.3) or B) live with the english language file...

Having language files is a luxury... Other dive computers are only in english available.

Ask someone, who can compile, nicely and hope he or she does a good job compiling your custom firmware?

I don't speak Italian, but would be happy to compile a new version of the firmware for you if this helps?

The process would be I would send you a file with a list of the English (or any other language currently supported) text, you provide the Italian translations and I recompile an Italian version of the firmware with these translations?

It is not so complicated really - I could try the translations myself using the Internet but think the result may amuse you
