I'm an american that just bought the ostc 2n. I am trying to put the unit in imperial units but can't find out how. I use feet not meters and temperature in degrees Farenheit not celsius and pressure in atmosphers or psi not bar. Is there a simple method of changing these settings??

I don't think it's possible at the moment, at least i couldn't find the option in the manual or the CF's. This could be a request to HW for a new CF?
Or have i overlooked something?

I know of no CF's that would allow to change to Imperial measurement.
It would have to be a CF implementation or maybe an imperial version of the Firmware.

Since we don't sell the 2N in the US due to different reasons, there's no imperial version or unit switch in the current firmware.

Thanks Matthias, any chance this could be addressed? I first saw this unit on the boat I work on in Truk lagoon from a shop in the Philippines. I fell in love with it, and purchased one. Most of our guests are Americans (with money), and this unit would get lots of inquiries (and possibly sales). Since I already have it, and since I'm the Captain of the liveaboard, I could help you break into the American market...

Matthias,
I noticed that the frog is able to go to imperial units, so the work has been done. It seems like a natural to incorporate this same feature into the ostc. Thanks, jj

Matthias,
Has there been any movement on the topic of a CF converting to imperial measurements in the last few months? Thanks, jj

Hi JJ,

I suspect you would have to find someone other than HW to compile a FW version in Imperial. HW appears not to have an interest in doing so. I guess its not just a question of changing the labels.
