Simulator bug?

Hi,

I tried planning a dive using the simulator with the following configuration:
Gas 1 - inactive
Gas 2 (active), Trimix 50/20
Gas 3 (active, first) Trimix 14/50
Gas 4 (active) - Oxygen
Gas 5 - inactive

The output (same on the OSTC itself and on the OSTC planner desktop software)

OC gas list:
* First gas#3 = 14/50
* Deco gas#2 = 50/20 at 21 m
* Deco gas#4 = 100/0 at 6 m

0:00 81.0m DESCENT DONE
...
15:16 81.0m Deco:
42 m : 1 ' 20 '
36 m : 2 ' 23 '
33 m : 1 ' 24 '
30 m : 2 ' 26 '
27 m : 2 ' 29 '
24 m : 3 ' 32 '
21 m : 4 ' 36 '
18 m : 5 ' 42 '
15 m : 8 ' 50 '
12 m : 13 ' 63 '
9 m : 24 ' 87 '
6 m : 48 ' 136 '
3 m : 135 ' 271 '
0 m : --- ' 272 '
TTS = 257 '
CNS = 13%

No gas switch!

However, if I made the first gas active & first (trimix 14/50) and disabled the 3rd gas it's ok:

OC gas list:
* First gas#1 = 14/50
* Deco gas#2 = 50/20 at 21 m
* Deco gas#4 = 100/0 at 6 m

0:00 81.0m DESCENT DONE
...
15:06 81.0m Deco:
42 m : 1 ' 20 '
39 m : 1 ' 21 '
36 m : 1 ' 23 '
33 m : 1 ' 24 '
30 m : 2 ' 26 '
27 m : 2 ' 28 '
24 m : 3 ' 32 '
21 m : 2 ' 34 ' (SWITCH Gas#1 -> Gas#2)
18 m : 3 ' 37 '
15 m : 4 ' 42 '
12 m : 5 ' 47 '
9 m : 8 ' 55 '
6 m : 9 ' 65 ' (SWITCH Gas#2 -> Gas#4)
3 m : 16 ' 81 '
0 m : --- ' 82 '
TTS = 67 '
CNS = 28%

Why do you make the first gas inactive?

Because it contained a mix I was planning on using later, so was easier to just change another mix and disable this one.

Excact, there is a bug here... :(

It does changes when you enable/disable your first gas, which should not change anything:
[pre]
OC gas list:
* First gas#2 = 14/50 DISABLED
* Deco gas#3 = 50/20 at 21 m
* Deco gas#4 = 100/0 at 6 m

0:00 81.0m DESCENT DONE
...
15:04 81.0m Deco:
48 m : 1 ' 19 '
42 m : 1 ' 21 '
39 m : 1 ' 22 '
36 m : 1 ' 24 '
33 m : 2 ' 26 '
30 m : 2 ' 28 '
27 m : 3 ' 31 '
24 m : 3 ' 35 '
21 m : 2 ' 37 ' (SWITCH Gas#2 -> Gas#3)
18 m : 3 ' 40 '
15 m : 4 ' 45 '
12 m : 7 ' 52 '
9 m : 9 ' 61 '
6 m : 28 ' 90 ' (SWITCH Gas#3 -> Gas#4)
0 m : --- ' 91 '
[/pre]

And:
[pre]
OC gas list:
* First gas#2 = 14/50 ENABLED at 12 m
* Deco gas#3 = 50/20 at 21 m
* Deco gas#4 = 100/0 at 6 m

0:00 81.0m DESCENT DONE
...
15:18 81.0m Deco:
48 m : 1 ' 20 '
42 m : 1 ' 21 '
39 m : 1 ' 22 '
36 m : 1 ' 24 '
33 m : 2 ' 26 '
30 m : 2 ' 28 '
27 m : 3 ' 32 '
24 m : 3 ' 35 '
21 m : 5 ' 40 ' ... NO SWITCH ...
18 m : 7 ' 48 '
15 m : 10 ' 58 '
12 m : 16 ' 74 '
9 m : 29 ' 103 '
6 m : 42 ' 146 ' (SWITCH Gas#2 -> Gas#4)
0 m : --- ' 147 '
[/pre]

Note: the roots of the bug lies in the gas list, you probably let a switch depth between 21 and 6m. I just did it too... If you set switch depth to 0m, the bug disappear.
