Re: Feature request - Daytime out of water
Am I missing something here? I don't see the benefit, the original request referred to it being for the benefit of wives, dive assistants etc.... but by the time you are reading this information, you are already underwater and therefore presumably unable to communicate this information to said wife ...

Thankyou, I assumed this was the case but needed to be sure.

Logbook CNS tracking?
Maybe this is a stupid question, but on my OSTC 2c running f/w 2.70, I see the CNS percentage recorded in the log for each dive.
My question to you all, Is this a running total, accounting for Surface Interval times etc too, or is it just a figure as a standalone for each dive?
So in it's simplist ...

Re: OSTC 2n vs. 3
I've owned both and think they both have their merits and their drawbacks.
To be honest, I bought the OSTC3 first, and after 3 failed units, all with depth sensor failures, I lost faith in the OSTC3 and returned it, buying an OSTC 2c as a replacement.
So far, the 2c has been fantastic.

Having had an OSTC3 for a short while, I found the firmware updates incredibly straight forward with the use of OSTC Companion software.
I had a number of issues with the OSTC3 and so ended up changing to the OSTC2c, and note that this is not supported in the Companion software.

Re: OSTC 3
I went through 3 OSTC3's, all sent back with the same issues, failed depth sensors. I lost confidence in the product, but have to say HW were always fantastic. I now swapped it
for a 2c, and so far I am very happy with it!In fact, now I'm using it, I prefer the buttons and the rechargeable battery ...
