I tried a simulation of the dive, just on the surface a short time ago and it all looked ok.

The reason I am checking it is I got a scrambled screen towards the end of the (first and only) dive on it after an update to 3.25 (was on 3.22 before)

Tried Subsurface (on linux), HWOS (android) and finally OSTC Companion (windows 10) and cannot upgrade from v3.09 beta 2 after trying multiple times on each program including removing and replacing battery, reset default settings etc.

I have build the latest subsurface and confirming it works for downloading my ccr dives now, it can also be downloaded from github if you can't build it.

To help stop some confusion rechargeable lithium ion batteries should be listed as 3.7v!

Rechargeable lithium ion batteries should be listed as 3.7v to help stop some confusion!

There was also a bug in subsurface and the new 4.8.1 released today should fix it.

The biggest difference is size / form factor, the OSTC3 has user replaceable battery and can connect to a rebreather to monitor the cells via the optical link cable.

I haven't updated yet but it would be clearer again if T2:3.6V/0.8A LiIon was listed as T2:3.7v/0.8A LiIon for the rechargeable LiIon batteries.

The OSTC3 is what you want/need if you want the sport with the ability to install custom firmware from bitbucket repository.

Using a freshly charged 900mAh (tested and confirmed with my analyzer charger) 14500 li-ion battery.

I got 13 dives with 15.5 hours total of diving split over 2 long weekends with a weekend break in between the dive trips.
The ending voltage right after the last dive was at 3.69 volts.

This is normal all batteries will always read lower volts when it is under load than at rest.

18650 battery is too big.

If you want to use a 3.7v lithium ion then you need a 14500.

I use lithium ion rechargeable batteries in mine and they work well.
Make sure you buy a good brand one, there are a lot of bad ones on the market.
Good ones should be 800-1000mAh, any more and they are lying so ...
