Re: NDL and deco GF
I've read somewhere in this forum, that tissue's nitrogen load is not yet taken under consideration in calculations of NDL. If so, what to refers NDL? I don't understand how it works here. Please describe briefly on the example of GFHi=75%

NDL and deco GF
I assume, that setting GF Hi to 75% will affect NDL so that it will be 75% of M-value. Am I right?

Hi.
Considering the fact that there's new OSTC2 will the os be developed concurrently for both devices - the old and the new one?
If yes, for how long?

OSTC 2N simulator nad surface interval
Hi.
If I understand correctly before second dive simulator takes actual state of offgassing after real dive into account? I know that's rather stupid question, but I have never used the simulator after diving and the manual indicates nothing in that matter.

What about lost gas?
Hi.
I'm assuming that the decompresion is being calculated according to the active gases from gas list set in surface mode plus the 6-th configurable while underwater. If so, how to workaround lost gas?
Any ideas?

Re: New 3.00 Firmware
Is it pure ZH-L16C or modified by GF?
Shouldn't it be done like this: I have ceiling @3,2m deco is calculated according to GF set (let's say 70%) so the deco ceiling will be @4,16m but computer will show stop @6m? But ceiling displayed will be @3,2m?

Re: conservatism settings comared to other products
jb2cool, less conservative - longer NDL? More conservative - shorter NDL. Black was more conservative - 65/20 but shown more NDL than less conservative OSTC 70/30. As I said, the difference was sometimes around 10 minutes.

After resetting, downloading and uploading everything seems to be ok. I've checked it with simulator. Safety stop shows at setted depth. Thank You for help.
What is awkward, I did nothing but set previous values via ostc unit, not external software.
BTW, OSTC Tools is great software. I've seen it ...

I'm no software designer, so I won't be able to check anything, even if I tried to reverse engineer the balck's code. So there's no way for me to compare them...
Mind this, I'm not indicating that there's anything wrong with both computers...

conservatism settings compared to other products
I dived yesterday with 2N and xDeep Black EANx. In Black conservatism was set to level 3 which reflects 65/20 and OSTC 2N set to 70/30. The NDL in OSTC was shorter and the difference was sometimes arround 10min. The settings in OSTC were less conservative, so why shorter times? Both are using ZH-L16 ...
