Nigel,
Looking back through the old documentation, a flip OLED display was introduced in V1.32 beta (was CF39, now used for something else)
Might be worth Emailing Matthias (I'll PM you his email address) and seeing if you can get a copy of V1.32 beta to load onto the OSTC Mk2, flip the screen and ...

Re: CCR SetPoint erhöhung bei über 50m
Sorry if my German is not good enough and this is added to the wrong place.
Is it possible to add the ability to set the OSTC MK2 so when the PPO2 of the Diluent is above the setpoint the deco model follows the setpoint when in setpoint mode?
I ask because sometimes I use a Diluent that gives a ...

O2 monitoring on OSTC query
Hi folks,
I have a query on the OSTC when using the O2 monitoring board. I know that the average PPO2 is shown on the screen in divemode. But is there a way to get the PPO2 for all 3 cells whilst in dive mode?
Thanks

Re: no deco limits ostc versus tables
angelain,
it does depend if you understand how the deco model works. Mark Powell does a fantastic book called "Deco For Divers" that presents deco theory and background in an easy to understand way.

Re: bailout/deco/solenoiddrive
Jan,
First of all there is currently no "turn key" kit for the PPO2 monitoring board (although I reckon there will be one available from somewhere within a couple of months), you have to build your own housing and sort out your own wiring.
getting a PPO2 board to drive a solenoid would not be ...

Re: O2 Board Questions
Matthias,
Cheers for that.
I have a requirement to run the HUD board off just one cell, is this possible by connecting just one cell to the board (if so which position should it be connected in)? or would it require that the output of the one cell is paralleled to the all the cell inputs on the ...

Re: no deco limits ostc versus tables
If you are realy chasing max no deco time, you can switch the deco calculation from Gradient factor to straight Bulman 100/100.
This will give you more no deco time (at an increased risk of DCI), but I wouldn't recommend it unless you completely understand the implications.

I'm sitting here looking at the O2 monitoring board, and i was wondering are both buttons used on the rev 1.1 firmware when in standalone mode? and if not, I assume you can't change the HUD type selection without an OSTC?

Cheers for that info, in that case the board is going to get fully potted and never see the light of day again.

Christian,
In that case out of interest is the part that looks like a button cell?

O2 Board Questions
I've got my O2 sensor board in front of me and I have a few questions that I hope someone can answer.
1) the buttons, are they for standalone use? can the board be completely setup/controlled from the OSTC without having to use the 2 buttons on the O2 monitoring board? (for example if I was going to ...

Re: Questions about de the OEM O2 Monitoring board
I've just been looking at the PPO2 monitoring board and was wondering how difficult it would be to change the HUD display codes? the reason I ask is that I'm a big fan of the Smithers code for HUD display (for those that don't know, the display codes are for 1 green flash per 0.1 above a PPO2 of 1.0 ...

Matthias,
Thanks for the information. Will holding down the right button cause the value to increase for as long as the button is held in, or will it be along the lines of short press =1 and long press =10?
Regards
Simon

Constant PPO2 mode.
I don't know what other peoples opinions are. But when the next level of firmware is being developed. I would find it more useful to have 2 PPO2 settings and 3 bailout gasses rather than the current 3 PPO2's and 2 bailouts.
Thanks

Zuerst eine Entschuldigung, weil ich nicht Deutsch sprechen. (Google f?r die Rettung)
Just a query, what functionality does the current stable firmware support?
I understand that it supports open circuit air/nitrox and Trimix diving.
