Hi All,
Today was my first dive with the OTSC 2N (V2.50).
Really not bad!
But while entering my gases I noticed that for the the first Gas the default value is 255/0. Wow, 255% O2!
Is there any chance to change this? I tried to find the parameter in the CF but with no luck!

Strange default gas for #1 (255/0)
Re: Strange default gas for #1 (255/0)
Also dieser 255/0 default macht Probleme!

Re: Strange default gas for #1 (255/0)
Yes, exactly the default value is 255/0.
When I select the default value the OSTC is even calculating with 255% O2!
MOD is then 65532m, which I think is an integer overflow.
An it then also shows it in the gas list with O2 255. So I really could use this hyper O2 mix for diving (:P)
BTW as my computer is brand new, I have firmware V2.50 on it

Re: Strange default gas for #1 (255/0)
Hmmm - strange.
I would reinstall the firmware.
See read.php?2,9543
Then the problem should be solved.

Re: Strange default gas for #1 (255/0)
Solved!
The solution was to use OSTC Tools Config application. It was able to read, change and write back the default gas.

Re: Strange default gas for #1 (255/0)
This bug was present in an old version of the 2N firmware (v. 2.0)

Thanks Vortex,
So, not so strange and uncommon as first thought
Maybe this threat serves then as a solution for the next one
