Additional indication

Post by Obu44 »

Hello, is it possible to add for a single gas dive, the theorical calculated pressure corresponding to the TTS + the pressure reserve.
With the CF indicating the average air consumption and two additional CF (CF for the volume tank, and CF for the pressure reserve we would like to have at surface), the OSTC can easily calculate this pressure.
I know all the TEC divers will say NO NO, (as for the safety stop option), but this kind of information could be interesting (in the same way the OSTC propose the indication of the new TTS with 5mn more at the bottom depth.).
My thinking is if somebody need for any reason to do this calculation (additional time spend at the bottom for any reason, why do not use the computer).

Buy yourself a dive computer with air integration at least there it is real time. Anything else is a wild guess.

I cannot see what the added value could be!

Hello,

you could use the existing cave bailout function if you know your air consumption and the ambient volume of your cylinder.
