really minor bug?

Post by swissdiving »

after a week of diving I got a really long desat time (about 28h+). yesterday was dive free and this morning I got out of the desat. but desat remained for a couple of hours on 0.00 eventually it went away. never had that with short desat times.

anyone else had that?

We just did two weeks of diving, I reached over 34 hours at one time. However, I neglected to see what happened when it got near zero.

I think i had this behavior even after single dives. But was not thinking about a bug... I will check it after tomorrows dive and report.

Yep, had this behavior also after a week of diving with desat at around 28 hrs. Dive buddy who did exactly the same dives as me had around 18 hrs...(different dive computer). Firmware 2.50.

2 dives in 2 days: total divetime 2, 5 h
Desat after dive # 2 --> 30 h

Right now: 25 h desat and 84 % N2

New dive tomorrow. Desat? I just go diving :D

I've just returned from a dive trip where I was diving on Nitrox 32 to max 30 m and did 50 dives, mostly 2 dives per day but on two days I did 3 dives. I found that my desat time after diving averaged at about 40 hours following the second dive but peaked at 47hrs 55min following a third dive.

These figures were comparable to desat times during previous dive trips so if there is a bug, which I doubt, it's been in the firmware for a long time.
Happy diving,
Laurie (OSTC2 #11454)

This time of the desaturation in my opinion is also strange.

Hi maran,

is this (6hrs 36min) the same value that the OSTC shows?
If not, please send me this .dive file to check if there is an error in OSTCProfile.

Yes.
Other diving they look normally. Desaturation 18-2X hours.

Which firmware?

Edit: 2.50 - Ok, can you remember what the OSTC showed in the main screen? Maybe it's only a logbook storing issue.

I remember, therefore it surprised me, after a few hours a full desaturation will be an evening, of the same evening "no fly" disappeared.

Sorry for my English.
