Hi there,
I'm a mac user & i can't use JDive log as the 'installation cookbook' request to use a commando which is not supported anymore in the latest mac OS versions.
What can I do? any one else using mac & OSTC N2??? I can't be the only one...

Re: Mac user JDive log
Hi Mathew,
I am a Mac only guy and I have an OSTC.
I use MacDive plus OSTC planner, cannot help you with JDive log but else .....
What happened is that Apple on OS X from Lion has stopped supporting rosetta stone, the piece of software allowing older PPC application to run on Intel architecture and from what you are saying I am afraid this could be the issue. (do not know JDive log so this is a wild guess)
Cheers
Fabio

Re: Mac user JDive log
I'm running JDiveLog on my iMac with the latest OS with no problem at all... Same with OSTC-Planner. Maybe you have to update your JAVA Runtime Enviroment JRE?
Hint: JDiveLog is a JAVA-Application

Re: Mac user JDive log
Well,
that serves me well
Guess that is why is called "J"divelog!
For Mathew, disregard what I have said about Rosetta Stone it is not applicable to this issue. Mountain Lion (the latest OS) comes without Java Runtime (and if you had it before updated it will remove it/divable and remove the java icon in the settings).
You need JRE 7.0 but be careful because it is 64 bit and its plugin will only work in 64 bit browsers (this should not be a problem with you since you just need to run and application).
Recommend to stay away from 6.x due to some security issues.

Re: Mac user JDive log
Thanks.
In fact, I really don't care about the software I install as long as it allows me to update the firmware of my OSTC...
As Jdive really works on my nerves I'll try the alternative proposed by Fabio.
Thx for your answers...
