Hi!
If I leave the OSTC permanetly connected to the charger, is that a good strategy or not?
Will it stop charging on a full charge without damaging the battery?
Will it trickle charge thereafter?
If not, will it kick back in if the battery discharges beyond a certain point?

Re: Battery strategy in storage
Hello,
Battery is charged with a CC/CV characteristic. It's no problem to leave the unit connected when the battery is full but it's not required and will not prolong the battery life compared to leave the OSTC disconnected after charge.
Two independent circuits prevent overcharging and under-discharging additionally.
regards,
Matthias
