UNable to connect OSTC2 to Mac

Post by Prof.Baltazar »

I´ve just recently purchased a HW OSTC2, but I am unable to connect it to a computer. For the first 5 dives it worker perfect, but now it will not connect to neither my iMac, Macbook nor PC.

Anyone know how to solve this? It´s really starting to bug me..:-)

Check if the usb-cable is plugged in to the OSTC correctly... Sometimes we heard about the problem that the plastic part of the cable is somehow slightly to big.

What kind of software are you using?

Sounds good. Try this one and make sure the OSTC is powered on.

Matthias, one other question at this point: Would it be possible to
turn on the OSTC automaticaly whenever it is connected to a power supply
via USB on software level (firmware update) or would a feature like this require a change in the hardware? I would welcome such a feature...

The charging circuity may not detect a full charge when the unit is always powered during charging -> So, no this is not possible.
