Wrong menu item in 2.70

Post by Goose_66 »

Hello Mathias,

When in dive mode saturday I could not find a way to reset stopwatch, I searched in simulator mode and I realized that when stopwatch is displayed a "ResetAvr" menu item appears, selecting it would reset the stop watch.

Suggest relabel it "ResetTmr" in next beta/release.
ResetAvr suggest average depth (at least to me :-))

Cheers

I could be wrong, as i'm saying this from memory, but I believe it's labelled as ResetAvr because it is doing just that. The function of that timer is to show an Average depth for the duration of said timer. Hence, Reset Average, it does reset the Average depth to Zero and the Timer starts again from Zero.

You are measuring the average depth over a period of time, both are reset to zero when you press the ResetAvr button.
After 3x Failed OSTC3's... I finally settled for an OSTC2c (#7138).... So far, so good!!!!

Thanks for the hint,
I would never ever figured that one out by myself.
I just use the stopwatch as such and not as a average depth interval counter ....
