[Solved] Battery: bad last charge date

Hi all,

I've got an OSTC 2N and I just uprgrade to v2.90.

For a while (may be since I've upgraded to v2.80), the battery symbol is in RED. Using OSTC Planer, I got this short message : "Battery: bad last charge date".

Is there any thing I can do to fix that ? I already tried to completely empty the battery (using the simulator) and completely charge.

Hi Gaël,

is the date really a wrong one?

If so, you can try it with OSTCTools - OSTCConfig,
Just Download the date from yout OSTC, than
got to the battery tab click on allow edit,
set the value to a correct one and upload
the date to OSTC.

Thanks for your help.

I installed OSTC Tools, download conf, set the last charge date to 01/01/2014 and upload.
But, I still have this "Battery : bast last charge date" log in OSTC Planner.

Well, may be it's not so serious.

Hi,

It's easy to fix:
- have a recent firmware installed
- make sure date and time are correct
- recharge the unit completely
- unplug USB cable

-> Last charge date will be set

No need to extra discharge the unit (Don't do that, every deep-discharge affects the battery life) or to use the OSTC Tools.
