Desat Diagram

Post by Bardass »

What does really mean the numeric value shown in the desat diagram ?
i know it means the N2 saturation of the leading tissue.

BUT
but when you look at the diagram, you see that all tissues didn't go back to their initial values. Tee desaturation is not ended (9h15 for ending decompression), there is a new leading tissue at surface that drive the decompression delay.

does it mean that the numeric value shown in the desat diagram only represents the leading tissue when I reached the surface.

I read this old topic :
read.php?2,5756,6993#msg-6993

but no answer found

It's the multiple of half-times of the leading tissue.

That's correct, it's not updated with the new leading tissue. Since all tissues will decrease after surface the value of the leading tissue directly after the dive is most important. It gives an approximation of the tissue load after your dive.
