Backup and Restore

Hi,

how can we Backup and Restore OSTC 2C computer data?

I mean a complete computer configuration: Logbook, setup and statistics data.

I have to send my OSTC 2C to get repaired and I want to save all history to restore it if it is necessary to replace the unit.

As far was i know this is not possible. And from my point of view it makes no sense too... Frequently download your dives with one of the famous logbook software. Otherwise your dives will be overwritten after some time by newer dives anyway...

you can save all your parameters with OSTC Planner or OSTC Tools
and save your dives with Subsurface or Jdivelog or Diving log or Mac Dive ...

I already use Mac Dive to save dives and it is OK, but how can I restore parameters, recent Logbook and statistic (number of dives, longest dive, deeper dive) to the other OSTC 2C?
I understand the point of view of Scubatinoo, but I think that a device like OSTC should have the function to backup and restore data, so you can go on with other new OSTC computer.

As we told you: you can backup your settings and logbook, but you can only restore your settings (eg. custom functions). Thats all you can do...
