What about lost gas?

Post by nodekh »

Hi.
I'm assuming that the decompresion is being calculated according to the active gases from gas list set in surface mode plus the 6-th configurable while underwater. If so, how to workaround lost gas?
Any ideas?

Seco is calculated with programmed deco gasses as long as their change depth is set to > 0. If set to 0 then you can switch to them (And deco will be recalculated to reflect this) but the original deco shown is using the original gas you were on.

I'm currently torn between which i like more. I kond of like change depth at 0 as it'll show me the worst case scenario and if i switch the deco will be shorter but it's more likely that i will be able ot use my deco gas in which case the change depth > 0 will give a more realistic figure.

If I'm not mistaken, if you you don't change to your optimal gas at the appropriate depth as set on the gas list, the deco is recalculated as if you've lost that gas.

I think the calculation starts after about 1 minute (confirmation is needed here)
