Are eneloop batteries Recommended?

Hi,

We do not recommend 1,2V rechargeables. Use quality brand "photo" batteries or one of the following (tested) batteries:

Saft LS14500, 3.6V Lithium
Energizer E2, 1.5V Lithium
Duracell Coppertop, 1,5V Alkaline
