Brand New OSTC 2 Enter button really Bad

Hi Everyone

Just received my replacement OSTC2, and am really happy with the service you have provided - via deep-ideas in UK

received the computer yesterday - friend brought it back to the Caribbean, where I work as a tech instructor.
looked at computer yesterday - ran simulator etc all good. Today menu button works sometimes but only on a very hard press and enter button doesn't work at all.

It has not been dived at all.

After an hour of trying I have managed to get to the reset menu and do a reset. Buttons still stiff but knocked them down to 20%.
Not as responsive as yesterday but workable.

I had the same problem here. When i received it, i had to press / knock the right button really hard to got it working. Left one worked perfect from the beginning.

What i find out:
- it works better in water (the colder, the better)
- over time it also got (a little) better
- with firmware 1.88 the behavior of right and left is now more or less the same at my OSTC 2

I had the same issue, put it in the fridge for a couple of hours, will sort it out
