Divemate für iOS

Hallo,

Seit heute gibt es eine neue App die OSTC Computer mit hwOS und Bluetooth 4.0 direkt auf iOS Geräte auslesen kann (Und auch sonst ein sehr schönes Logbuch-Programm ist): https://itunes.apple.com/app/id902359157

Die App ist nicht von uns aber wir haben sie schon testen können und können sie empfehlen. Auslesen erfordert einen In-App-Kauf (7,99€), testen ist kostenlos.

Now available is a new App which can download dives from OSTC computers with hwOS and Bluetooth 4.0 directly to iOS devices. It's also a nice logbook tool: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id902359157

Please note that this is not a heinrichs weikamp App but we can recommend it and tested it already. Downloading requires an in-app-purchase (7,99€), testing it is free.

Divemate is very easy to use with Androïd version ; link with Sport without any problem (10.18 & 10.21 ; some issus with 10.20).

But I tried yesterday to use it on my iPhone 5C (IOS 9.0.2) after payment for the BT link (6.99 € in France) : it doesn't work. BT link OK, starting of exchange ok, till the end but no really end & apps freeze. After iPhone reset, Divemate doesn't work anymore (opening & closing juste after).

I'll try again after IOS update to 9.1, in a few days.

It also crashed every time on my iPhone when I tried to open the included demo log entry. so I did not even buy the BT extension.
Have a look at Dive Log which I use for years. They are working on the BT transfer between OSTC and iPhone and in the beta It already works fine.

Just for clarification you have got the dive log - I presume version 5 on your iPhone to talk to your OSTC in beta- is this the shearwater download that is available to purchase or something else - this would be really great to get if it's working and available.

we are the developers of DiveMate for iOS and Android.

Beginning of next week (week 45) the update v1.3.0 of DiveMate for iOS will be available fixing some bugs. Also we made the Bluetooth transfer more reliable for larger dives. This is update v1.3.1 which we will submit to Apple shortly.

Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
We regularly maintain the Apps and look forward to feedback.

In the AppStore one cannot respond to comments/reviews so regarding the OSTC the best place is here.

Hello,

i have just updated to the newest iOs Version. Now i was able to download the dives from my OSTC 2 (BT LE). But the profile looks strange in all dives.

When there is a depth profile it looks weird/corrupt (and the information about temperature etc. is also corrupt) or the is no depth profile and the other information seems correct....

Any ideas what went wrong? How can i download the dives correctly?

Until know it seems that the software is in beta status and we are the beta-tester, it seems they didn't do their homework (td)
Sometimes the diving profile is diplayed with a lot of crap!!!:X
I'm using OSTC Sport and there are some other apps much more professional out there.

This App does work at all. Even after the last Update. I paid 6.99€ for nothing. I think it is not good for the reputation of HW to announce this App in the forum.

Same here, now its working. Thanks for fixing.

Will there be a feature in the future, that is not importing dives, that are already on the iPhone? And/or only showing new dives to be transferred from the iPhone?
